An electrical network system is an interconnection of electrical system components, for example resistance & protections, capacitances, inductances, voltage and flow sources, and so on.

Series and Parallel Electric Networks have differences from each other but at the same time also shares something in common. These two types of Electric Networks maybe used on different facilities or establishments for different purposes, lets find out.

Pros of Series Networks

1. Series circuits don't overheat that fast no problem at all.

2. They are conducive to be used around potentially combustible materials and objects. Due to not being burn as easy.

3. Series circuits are easy to repair and construct as they are designed in a simple form and is easy to understand.

4. Adding or using more devices is not a problem as they can put more higher voltage of energy.

Cons of Series Networks

1. When one point disconnects or breaks, some point can also break as well.

2. When the number of components in a circuit network increases, greater will be the circuit resistance be.

Pros of Parallel Networks

1. The distribution of energy voltage to every unit is equal

2. It becomes easy to connect or disconnect a new element without affecting the working of other elements.

3. No unwanted breakdown for the WHOLE network if the connection fails, the current can still be able to pass through the circuit through different paths.

Cons of Parallel Networks

1. It needs to use a lot of wires.

2. Increasing or multiplying the voltage is not possible.

3. Parallel connection fails at the time when it is required to pass exactly same amount of current through the units.

It is best to always ask and seek for an Expert Electrician's advice on what type of electric network to use. There are many factors that may affect the decision that is why is never okay to rush in.
